Tucked away in the lush Moreletta Creek Valley in Pretoria, this project involved the addition and conversion of a dilapidated 1970s home, in collaboration with Clearspace Architects. The design was centered on preserving the site’s old-growth trees, with the new additions arranged around an open central courtyard that creates a sense of warmth and safety. The private master wing, home office, and modernized open-plan living, dining, and kitchen areas, along with five bedrooms, offer tranquility, nature, and security in equal measure.
